Release firo-0.14.14.1-win64-setup.exe
Returned to release v0.14.14.0, works without errors.

I’ve seen this kind of error if you don’t give Firo enough time to shutdown cleanly before you shut down the system - or try to start up another copy of Firo (check in task manager that Firo has completely stopped - other wise the database can be damaged - and you may have to rebuild).

this is not the cause of the error. uninstalled 0.14.14.1, installed 0.14.14.0 and it works. tried again, uninstalled 0.14.14.0, installed 0.14.14.1 and error, uninstalled, and reinstalled 0.14.14.0 and it works

Try checking the debug.log.
Could tell something what went wrong.

Removed Cyrillic characters from the path.
I note, that in release 0.14.14.0 there were no such problems with Cyrillic characters.
