Good evening, I am looking to mine Zcoin for the first time. I have never mined cryptocurrencies before.
I have followed the guide for cpuminer but I cannot reach the goal.
I downloaded the cpuminer.exe file from githib.
As a mining pool I chose http://zergpool.com/ and used the miner command line generator. The result is:
-a mtp -o stratum+tcp://mtp.eu.mine.zergpool.com:3000 -u aB8SVoapDNqLx3jaywZGaF7LEHcrvBqjjG -p c=XZC,mc=XZC
So I created a .bat file (in the same folder where I downloaded cpuminer.exe) with the following line:
cpuminer.exe -a mtp -o stratum+tcp://mtp.eu.mine.zergpool.com:3000 -u aB8SVoapDNqLx3jaywZGaF7LEHcrvBqjjG -p c=XZC,mc=XZC
When I run the .bat file I get the following error:
cpuminer-multi has stopped working and the command prompt closes.
The characteristics of my computer are:
- CPU: Intel Core i5 760 2.80 GHz
- RAM: 4GB DDR3
Can someone help me please?
