I thought I had already started a thread about this subject, but I can’t find it: so I’m creating this one, clearly labeled.
The purpose of this thread is to document the history of the number of FIRO masternodes.
The need for this historical data arose during a discussion on this forum where I was asked for the sources of my figures when I inquired about the reasons for the significant decrease in the masternodes number.
I encourage everyone to contribute to this thread with sourced and accurate figures.
November 3, 2025 (source: FIRO wallet, then FIRO blockchain):
1 - Total FIRO masternodes number: 5595
2 - Number of “POSE_BANNED” masternodes: 720 (12.87%)
3 - Number of active FIRO masternodes: 5595 - 720 = 4875 (87,13%)
4 - Number of masternodes with a non-zero “Pose Score” (including “POSE_BANNED”): 802 (14.33%).
5 - FIRO price: $1.58 or 1,464 satoshis (source CoinMarketCap)
This will be good to post after each upgrade and then 7 days later as operators who missed the deadline should have had enough to realize it and fix it by then.
I’ll do my best, but if you’d like to add to the data here, this is a community thread and you can post the data whenever you want.
For information, if I understand your request correctly and interpret it correctly: in my experience, which dates back to the ZCoin beginning, updates have a limited impact on masternode data. What directly impacts this data is, firstly, the block reward redistribution (which is now blocked following the latest community decision) and, secondly, the FIRO price.
Thanks for the reminder: the problem with masternodes.online is that they have repeatedly stopped listing FIRO: either because they were demanding money from the project via Reuben, or because they had technical problems (API…).
