Most recent voting update on the Market Making, Development, and Research proposal for July 2023.
The Community Fund Committee (CFC) consists of seven members, but to avoid any potential conflict of interest due to the fact that Cypher Stack provides some of the services to the core team, @rehrar has abstained from voting on this proposal along with @sproxet who is currently helping us as a freelancer to do some housekeeping.
Among the remaining five CFC members, a notable majority of four have cast affirmative votes in support of advancing the proposal, while one CFC member’s vote is still pending. Given that four out of the five active CFC members have expressed their approval, the proposal has effectively secured passage to proceed. Thank you!

Hi, just curious, where does these 16000 Firo come from?
I read that the reserves is depleted…

It comes from the community fund … it’s basically sucking that dry for months now.
The project can’t sustain close to $50K/month R&D, reserves are depleted, it’s time to make some significant cuts. (remember, we got a halving coming up in a year)

I strongly and respectfully disagree with this on the basis that if they cut anymore, there’s basically no one left, and at that point, we can pack it up. Everyone is already operating on the lowest possible salaries/and sometimes working for free.
Firo is tech leader in privacy. It is not shitcoin where there is no development and all preallocated money is to used for marketing of the bubble.
If you look how Firo team is working, they are very money efficient, and doing good job.
Market situation is unfortunately bad and to help dev team to cover expenses which are crucial for Firo project is definitely good for the project.
What proposal would you vote for instead of this one?

Did you try upcoming Lelantus Spark? If not, you should! It is really huge step for Firo which will not happen without their undervalued work.
