Websites like exchang io swapswop io stealthex and others have now all migrated to Firo BSC. No more native Firo support only Firo BSC chain. Where can you convert Firo BSC chain to normal Firo or reverse? Nowhere…
Now we have excellent opportunity to buy Firo I’ve asked at work to receive my salary tomorrow on Friday and will be buying as much as possible. But I can’t find where to do it.
I know i sound like a broken record but with the Binance delisting the issue of liquidity off main CEXs is critical!
There was decent liquidity on Wizardswap, just keeps being bought out, i just checked with Reuben and he confirmed there’ll be a top up soon, but meanwhile another alternative is the Firo DEX, decent liquidity for BTC > Firo.
Keeps being bought out because probably the only place to get it. Demand is there guys clearly!
Thanks but FiroDex has really low liquidity. If you do get a swap from one of the swap sites you are left with Firo BSC. Can’t convert the Firo BSC more than $1000 to native Firo on the FiroDEX. No point in using it.
I’d really love to see some solution you can see it is a key problem. If it gets solved I’d bet it will affect price positively as people will be able to get in and out of Firo easily. I’d be happy to seriously donate to make it happen.
You should give the @ZenCachehttps://www.firodex.fans site a try though. Tested it with a swap and it works great (but no Monero since Komodo wallet doesn’t support it).
Um…Monero users probably don’t even have Firo on their radar, and I’d bet a lot of them forgot about it, and that’s if they even knew Firo existed in the first place.
Hate to break it to you, but Firo lost the race a long time ago. In that space, XMR is king and the rest of the tiny players are penny alts. In terms of privacy, there’s no feature Firo has that isn’t surpassed by XMR.
On top of that, you can discuss XMR in the community without a “Reuben” answering every single post. If that and the heavy emphasis on masternodes (which reward the rich and exclude the poor) don’t scream that Firo is highly centralized, then I don’t know what to tell you. RIP Firo.

If its 1,000 that means the price is currently $694.60 USD currently which is nothing compared to DASH and others that deploy some use of Masternodes in their systems. I agree with you that plays a role in centralization especially when the price of Firo goes up.

I’d like to give update on the exchanges to Firo. It’s nearby end of the month I’ll be buying with my salary again.
However we face real issues reuben. We really need to solve them and without it Firo can’t grow.

Urgent matter as you can witness yourselves. Relying on one or two websites is bad for Firo swapping centralization.
@ThePharmacist You’re wrong bud. Firo has superior privacy technology as of this moment. FCMP might change that but currently Firo wins the race for technology. The entire information is available on the website.
The 51% attempted attack on XMR (never worked) has showed what dangers are there and Firo has solved those in its own way. Another win for Firo.
Firo will grow it might take a while but it will get more and more known about it. Isn’t a shit coin and has actual value. In the privacy space Firo and XMR are the only real coins, zcash, arrr, dash they all have issues or sub par privacy tech. Matter of time.
LetsExchange, should allow purchases up to 11k FIRO ish. They had liquidity issues. StealthEx seems to be up again as well for native Firo token. Changenow as well. I think they all share the same liquidity provider.
@reuben letsexchange works but if you try to visit from Tor Browser impossible very anti-privacy…

Can you reach out to these places? I mean we have tradeogre still listed and other places who clearly don’t have Firo enabled. Places like swapswop or exchangio used to be good but nothing currently. I want to support and keep buying or exchanging when i feel but it’s really hard.
Do you not feel it’s a very important issue to resolve? How can people use Firo if they can’t get Firo in and out?
I don’t know what issues you are facing because it’s now 11 September 23:57 PM UTC+8 and let’s run through all your findings. Everytime you claim this, I do check but don’t see anything wrong or have it restored shortly. But since I caught this post just as you post it.
These are all native Firo. I picked 0.05-0.1 Bitcoin as being a ‘decent amount’. These were all done with Brave browser with shields up.
