The current website looks great and definitely got my attention when first learning about Firo. However, it’s not accessible via Tor browser as an onion or otherwise on safest mode. This may limit access to some users, as well as anyone wishing to view the website without javascript. I’m suggesting (or proposing) that there should be a no javavscript version available. For example, every svg image won’t display with these restrictions. Some features may have to be adapted, translations are also possible to incorporate, but that will be a significantly more involved task. I think I would be able to do this as there is a simpler javascript free version of my block explorer currently on Tor. Sorry if this already exists, but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
I also second this and also want to state certain privacy settings should be changed on the discourse forum software to make all users profiles hidden:
This user’s public profile is hidden.
Or only viewable when signed in.
We’re in the process of reworking the website but will try to see what we can do on this end.
I just enabled some inbuilt privacy features on Discourse to prevent users from browsing user profiles and gives the ability for anonymous posts. Just wonder if this is good for governance for anonymous posts.
I get what you mean, there has to be some level of accountability even if it’s just a handle. As far, as the site there’s nothing wrong with it at all. The suggestion just comes from the fact that there are a lot of Monero related resources on Tor. That being said, it is a decision worth thinking over, I was just throwing it out there.

In hindsight, It’s actually not for me and was just something I viewed as a challenge because I normally code using javascript frameworks. There’s no real reason for it, because the content isn’t censored that I’m aware of and if it is in some region so is Tor, not to mention how would the link be distributed under those circumstances? There’s no money in creating hidden services where I live either as far as I’m aware, so a one off doesn’t make sense to me anymore.
