One question: If we discontinue the Community Funds, will all funds be used to pay the developers , and no other activities will be possible?

I originally voted keeping the Developer Fund only as at the moment, much of the Community Fund is being used to support core development activities.
However we are talking about the long term here and this wonโt always be the case and rather than nip it in the bud and having to rebuild it again later, it would be good to keep this governance mechanism.
Well the core team fund is used for many other activities besides developers. Itโs used to pay for various marketing or exchange listings or market making fees or community managers.
Obviously when the price drops, this tends to favor more development since they are a fixed cost while marketing is more variable.
However again as I said, I think it is worthwhile to keep the Community Fund and see how it goes and core team can still request from the CFC if needed.

I also had no idea what the community fund was doing
