The latest version of Meile dVPN (v2.5.0) makes use of Firo Spark InstantLock confirmation to ensure near instant settlement of payment to our VPN subscriptions. v2.5.0 is currently available for Windows and MacOS (sorry Linux bros, you’ll have to wait a day or two)
Also, there is a privacy enhancement for plan subscribers. It is a novel technique we are using that we call “Ring Sessions”. Modeled after Monero’s ring signatures, our technique creates 8 decoy session transactions simultaneously along with the true session tx to obfuscate any on-chain analysis. This option is currently “opt-in”. You can check the box in the settings menu to turn it on. It is highly recommended, if you subscribe to our plans, to turn this privacy feature on.
