# Explaining the Firo Hyperliquid listing process

We’re doing well on the backing of Firo’s proposal to be short-listed for voting. Thank you for your support so far!

**1️⃣ Back FIRO’s proposal**  
This shows community support and helps make the case for FIRO to be shortlisted. **Backing is not the final vote.**  **This is where we are at right now and based on current standings, we should be short-listed.**

**2️⃣ Vote when FIRO is shortlisted**  
Nova selects **three markets** for each voting round. Users spend **Conviction Points** to support their choice, and the market with the most points wins.

This is the toughest part since it is voted by [Conviction Points](https://docs.nova.markets/#/points) which are earned by doing certain activities. Currently this is gated by white-listing.

We do have some people already white-listed with a good amount of Conviction Points willing to vote for us but the more the better.

**3️⃣ More chances to get selected**  
Nova plans a round **every three days**. Unsuccessful candidates remain eligible for future rounds, although re-selection isn’t automatic.

**What about rewards?**  
Nova’s published model offers points-based voters revenue-sharing tokens for the **winning market** , even if they voted for another candidate. Rewards are subject to Nova’s rules; initial backing alone does **not** guarantee an airdrop.

Currently the main competitor is the $STRATEGY memecoin which was started by a proposer [@0xmakerlee](https://x.com/0xmakerlee)that is No. 4 in the conviction points ranking [Leaderboard · Nova](https://app.nova.markets/leaderboard)
